  • COVID-19: What safety measures do you have in place?

We are closely following the latest Government guidelines and are committed to keeping our clients and staff safe during the coronavirus pandemic.  We are ensuring that we operate as safely as possible by implementing precautions such as regular hand washing/sanitising, regular cleaning of our vehicle and equipment, and minimal physical contact with pets, clients and the public.

  • Do I need to provide you with poo bags and treats?

I provide poo bags and treats however please let me know if your dog is allergic or intolerant to any certain treats/ingredients.

  • Do I need to be at home when you collect my dog?

You do not need to be at home, you can provide me with a house key that I will store in a secure key safe when not in use.

  • Do you accept all types of dogs/pets?

I accept all breeds of dog.  If your dog has aggressive tendencies then please have a chat with me, as I may be able to offer one to one walks for your dog.  I offer house visits for dogs and cats, and other small animals - please contact me for more details or to discuss your specific needs.

  • Do you walk dogs in season?

Unfortunately I will not be able to walk your dog whilst she is in season, however, I can offer home visits for her during this time.

  • What qualifications do you have?

I am qualified in canine first aid and I hold a Dog Walking and Sitting professional qualification.

  • How do you take payment?

My preferred method of payment is by bank transfer. I will provide you with an invoice at the end of each week which will summarise the number of walks/visits your pet has had.

  • Do you have a variety of different routes or do you walk the same route every day?

I have a number of local routes that I use regularly and I make sure I rotate these in order to give your dog as much variety as possible. I aim to provide your dog with fun and engaging walks with lots of new sights and smells to explore.

  • What happens if my dog gets injured while out on a walk with you?

I am trained to administer canine first aid and I carry a canine first aid kit in my car at all times.  At our first meeting, I will ask you if your dog has any underlying health issues, if they are taking any medications, and I will ask you to provide me with the contact details of your dog's Vet, in case of emergency.  I also hold the details of the local veterinary surgeries and can take your dog there should they require emergency assistance.
